In 2006, Trent saw a serious need for small and large clients in their new exploration efforts. Asked many times were the questions, “Do you know a drilling company” or “Do you know who can handle our completions”? It was decided that Lonewolf, with its network of skilled associates, would offer exploration services to clients. After meeting with the team we formed Lonewolf Exploration & Production Company, Inc. in 2007 and immediately LWE&P handled several smaller Drilling Programs for clients from start to finish in Montana.

This company was formed with the idea that a client can be involved to whatever degree they feel comfortable with. If desired, LWE&P can plan, scout, survey (land & archeology), construct, drill, complete, test, build infrastructure and produce a well or wells for a client.

As time passed on, LWE&P began to evolve into a leader of large new lease plays in Montana, Nevada, Utah and Colorado with the assistance of outside backing to explore new and old areas for new potential at different horizons. The evolution of horizontal drilling opened many doors to new ideas and new technologies that assisted in production recovery where once it did not appear that was possible. With all of this developing LWE&P used its expertise in dealing with agencies (BLM, State & BIA) and acquisition of Fee Mineral Interests to move projects towards the bit and get them explored and on production.

Today, LWE&P remains committed to its goal of finding new horizons to explore in the Western US. Our long-standing relationships with valued industry leaders has assisted in our efforts.
